Montgomery Regional Airport confirms the one full-body scanner that it was using to check customers before allowing them to board airplanes is now gone from the facility.

The Transportation Safety Administration is pulling the large machines out of small airports across the nation, not long after they were installed.

The scanners became a point of controversy after man passengers complained that they revealed too much.

The executive director of the Montgomery Regional Airport said he understands why the TSA decided to remove the machines, but he says he felt they were efficient and easy to operate.
