Columbus police searching for identity theft suspect, $1,000 reward offered

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Columbus Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help finding a suspect involved in a credit card theft.

Police believe this man used a city government issued credit card here in Columbus at the Wal-Mart on Gateway Road, but police say the card may have been stolen.

The suspect made two purchases totaling a little over $64 with the phony card. He was seen driving off in a white Toyota SUV, possibly a Sequoia.

If you have any information you're asked to contact Columbus police. If your information leads to an arrest and indictment, you could receive a reward of up to $1,000.
