MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The three finalists for president of Southern Union State Community College in Wadley are already administrators in Alabama's 2-year college system.

Alabama's 2-year college chancellor, Mark Heinrich, said a search committee appointed by the state school board selected David Hodge, who's dean of student and administrative services at Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City; Linda North, who's dean of academics at Southern Union; and Amelia Pearson, who's interim president of Southern Union.

Heinrich said he plans to make a recommendation to the school board on April 25.
