COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Performers from all across the world, twenty different countries, are making their way to Columbus.

That's because Cirque du Soleil's production of Quidam is coming to the Civic Center in May.

News Leader 9 got a sneak peak of what you can expect at the show. You can see video here of one of the performers doing tricks with a jump rope.

We spoke with the rope-skipper who explains why she enjoys it.

"It's something that brings kind of nostalgia for the adults, and pretty much everybody tried when they were a small kid and it's kind of a nice motivation for the children that they can see what is possible to do with just a simple equipment," said Adrienn Banhegy.

This is the first time Cirque du Soleil has ever been to Columbus. They will be here May 11 through 12.

Tickets can be bought at the Columbus Civic Center box office.
