Pets of the Day: April 18

(WTVM) -

The pets at Columbus Animal Care and Control live in constant fear they won't live to see another day. Here are a small handful of the deserving dogs and cats available at Animal Control that will make excellent family pets.

Tag 395 is a female Domestic Short Haired tabby who is very affectionate. She is full of personality and can't wait to be the newest part of your family.

Tag 391 is a young, female Domestic Short Haired cat with a jet black coat. She is curious and full of energy, but promises to be a loving and attentive family pet.

Tag 399 is a young, female Spaniel mix, who is scared at Animal Control, but will be a fantastic rescue pet for a family with children. She is very gentle and extremely obedient.

Tag 193 is a male German Shepherd. Though he's a big dog, he is heartbroken to be at a shelter with no family to share his love. He is loyal, playful, and wants a family he can call his own.

Do your part, and save a life. For more information, visit Animal Control at 4910 Milgen Road, or call (706) 653-4512.
