State Reps turn to Google hangout to reach citizens

MONROE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -

Michigan State Representative Dale Zorn is hosting a new style for town hall meetings beginning Tuesday.

Governor Rick Snyder is expected to talk with residents through a Google Plus hangout.

During the chat, residents will be able to ask the governor questions and share any concerns they may have for the state.

The format has been used successfully by the governor in the past.

Tuesday's meeting is from 6-7pm, at the La-Z-Boy Center at Monroe County Community College, 1555 South Raisinville Road.

The event is free, and all local residents are invited to attend.
