Exclusive Preview of News at 5 & 6

Good evening! This is Jason Dennis in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6:

A historic tradition in Auburn has come to an end, for now, as crews spent all day taking down the poisoned oaks at Toomer's Corner. We'll have a LIVE update on what's happening now at the site where many Auburn fans have rolled those trees for decades.

Opening arguments just ended in the murder trial of two local men accused of killing a Fort Benning contractor. We'll take you inside the Columbus courtroom.

Hundreds of jobs are being created in Columbus, thanks to the return of Twinkies. We'll have more on the popular treat's comeback and the positive economic news announce today.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
