Pets of the Day: April 25

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

All of last week's animals showcased from Columbus Animal Control have been rescued. Some of their friends in the shelter were not so fortunate.

Here is a look at today's pets that deserve life and love, among so many other things.

Tag 262 is a male, domestic short haired tabby. He is a sweet-natured and laid-back boy who has a lifetime of love to share.

Tag 301 is a female domestic short haired cat. She has had a tough life, and is ready to have a loving family to call her own.

Tag 391 is a young, female domestic short haired Torti. This kitten loves to cuddle and can't wait to be rescued from the shelter.

Tag 248 is a black and white domestic short haired male. He is curious and playful, but is grateful to spend time with loving people, as well.

Tag 240 is a male Sharpei puppy. He is scared and lonely, and knows he will be the perfect family pet.

Tag 295 is a male bulldog-mix with tan coloring. He's had a hard life, and deserves the love and care only a family can provide.

Tag 370 is a female Labrador retriever mix with black and white coloring. She is very gentle with an incredibly kind and grateful disposition.

Tag 311 is a female basset hound mix. She is the perfect rescue for a family with children. This girl deserves a home where she can grow old.

These animals won't make it unless they are saved from Columbus Animal Care and Control.
