CHARENTON, LA (WAFB) -

Deputies are looking for an elderly woman who family members believe suffers from a form of dementia and was last seen leaving home headed to north Louisiana.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearance of Jacqueline Haun, 68, of Charenton. Her family reported her missing Wednesday evening.

Relatives told deputies Haun left her home Friday morning (April 19) for Shreveport. She spoke to family members the next day and hasn't been heard from since.

She suffers from high blood pressure and the family believes she possibly suffers from mild dementia.

She was driving a red 2006 Toyota RAV 4 with Louisiana license plate SFU611.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 337-828-1960 or 985-384-1622.
