COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The National Infantry Museum wasn't just a museum on Monday, it also the setting for a music video.

The Tim Maggart and Neil Lucas Band filmed their music video for their song called "A Link" at the museum.

The song tracks three generations of Army soldiers and is dedicated to all who fight for our freedom.

Lead singer and local veteran, Tim Maggart, was once stationed at Fort Benning and has a long lineage of veterans in his family.

He explains taping this video at the museum is fitting, and tells us what this song means to him.

"The hook is a link in the chain of freedom and so we're wanting to honor and thank combat veterans and all veterans for their sacrifices for our country," said Maggart.

The music video will be used for promotional purposes by the Infantry Foundation, and they are working to have it aired on CMT.

The song, as well as the extended play, will be released shortly, and can be purchased on iTunes.
