Good Evening I'm Barbara Gauthier in the WTVM Newsroom.  Our news team is busy working on several stories for Newsleader 9 at 11.  Here's a peek at what you'll see.

    It's a policy that has some pregnant employees concerned that they're being treated unfairly.  Newsleader 9's Curtis McCloud takes a look at the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department workers compensation policy that some women say is discriminatory.  We'll also show how as of this afternoon - that policy has been amended.

 Plus, a mysterious sickness appears to be spreading in Southeast Alabama. State health officials and the CDC are investigation as 7 people have contracted the unknown respiratory illness - 2 people have died.  We'll tell you the symptoms and how you can avoid it.

Meantime, new technology at Auburn University is speeding up identification of the bacteria that causes staph infections and that's resulting in better recovery rates. We'll share the details with you.
