Exclusive Preview of News at 5 & 6

Good evening, this is Jason Dennis at WTVM. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6!

We have new details tonight for nearly 600 displaced students in Muscogee County, after the school board's decision earlier this month to close Edgewood Elementary and Marshall Middle schools. We have the specifics you need to know, especially for hardship requests.

After a heated back and forth between several groups, a new plan for Columbus' Liberty District is back on the table. Tonight, city council is expected to vote on it and we'll have a LIVE report from that meeting.

And a scary site on the Chattahoochee River in Georgia -- find out where a huge alligator was spotted and what officials are saying about the safety of those in the area.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
