COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - "I am happy to announce that Holly Steuart has accepted the Vice President and General Manager position at WTVM, Raycom's ABC affiliate in Columbus, Georgia," said Brad Streit, Raycom Media Group Vice President of Television.
Holly started her 30+ year career in news, and worked her way up to her first General Manager's job in 1999 at KFYR, KMOT, KQCD, and KUMV in Bismarck, ND. From there Holly moved to Las Vegas where she served as GM for Meredith's KVVU. Her most recent General Manager role was in Harrisburg, PA, working for Newport Television as their GM at WHP until that station was sold to Sinclair Broadcasting.
Holly is well-known by many in the industry and comes highly recommended by all who have worked with her and for her.
"I feel really honored to follow in Lee's footsteps and be able to have the opportunity to build on the past 18 years of his leadership," said Steuart. "I'm really excited to be working with a good, strong company such as Raycom Media…they're a leader in the digital and sales world."
Brad Streit added that Steuart joins as a result of Lee Brantley's retirement effective July 31, saying, "Lee's gracious planning is now allowing us to orchestrate a smooth transition in leadership."
Steuart says she's excited to be on board. "I think WTVM has a great team in every department and I'm just delighted to join them and be part of Raycom Media", Steuart says. Holly and her husband Steve look forward to relocating to Columbus.
