Two charitable young ladies, Melissa Champion, 11, and Madison Champion, 9, are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for their teacher's husband who was recently diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer.

The Champion sisters are students at Pine Ridge Elementary School in Ellerslie where Mrs. Donna Klepper is one of their beloved teachers. Klepper's husband, Henry, was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer in early April.

According to the girls' mother, Dorothy Champion, even though Henry Klepper's diagnosis is recent, his medical bills have already started to become a huge struggle for the family. This is why Melissa and Madison are inspired to host the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser.

"They believe, with all their hearts, that they can really make a difference in the burdens that the Klepper family will have to endure," says Champion.

The Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner will take place on June 1, 2013, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ellerslie Depot in Ellerslie, Harris County, Ga.
