Exclusive Preview of News at 6 & 11

Good Thursday evening to you. This is Jason Dennis at WTVM. Here's what we are working on for the news at 6 and 11!

People are starting to notice the impact of federal budget cuts, on not just solders, but also thousands of civilian employees on Fort Benning. We'll tell you about the furlough notices, and also how these cuts are reaching high school students.

It was an emotional day for students and parents who came out to say their final goodbyes to not just each other but Marshall Middle School, 1 of 2 schools being closed in Columbus. Tonight, hear from Marshall's principal about his last graduating class ever.

Along with the 13th street bridge being closed for much of next week, we'll explain how police will handle the traffic and how the movie shoot in the Columbus area is shutting down another road near downtown, starting this Saturday. Find out where and for how long.

Changes are happening in downtown Auburn. We'll show you what's new, including rolling structures at Toomer's Corner.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 6 and 11!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
