Exclusive Preview of News at 6 & 11

Happy Friday! This is Jason Dennis in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 6 and 11:

Imagine riding a roller coaster for 9 hours straight, and one that goes upside down. We talk to a Columbus woman who is participating in this Coasterthon at Six Flags Over Georgia. Find out what cause she's supporting, and what it has to do with her son.

Tonight, we have new video of numerous toppled rafts, as one section of the whitewater course on the Chattahoochee River is being closed, one week after it opened. We'll explain why, and if officials are concerned about safety.

Federal cutbacks are impacting literacy programs across the nation, but see how motorcyclists are riding into the rescue for some kids who want to read in East Alabama.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 6 and 11!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
