(WTVM) -

We're happy to report that four cats and two dogs we showcased previously have either been adopted or placed in rescue groups. Sadly, one dog is still at the shelter and another has been put down. That's why it's important to do everything you can to ensure these sweet, loving animals find a forever home.

Here's a look at today's adoptable pets:

Tag #195 is an adult male heeler mix. If you want a loyal companion who's just the right size to cuddle on your lap, look no further than this sweet boy!

Tag #361 is an adult male domestic short-haired cat with bright orange fur. This handsome guy can't wait to meet you and is ready to snuggle!

Tag #393 is an adult female mixed breed dog with brown hair and a white snout. This lovely lady wants to play fetch and bravely protect her new family from harm.

Tag #350 is a male domestic short-haired tabby kitten with soft gray fur. He's hoping his new family has lots string for him to play with and is ready for lots of fun!

For more information on how you can help these deserving pets find a home, visit Columbus Animal Care and Control at 4910 Milgen Road or call them at (706) 653-4512.
