Exclusive Preview of News at 5 & 6

Good evening, this is Jason Dennis at WTVM. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6!

People who live in one local neighborhood are on edge after police say professional thieves targeted at least three homes, stealing valuable jewelry, silver, electronics and firearms. We have a LIVE report from East Alabama with the latest on this investigation and an EXCLUSIVE interview with one of the victims.

Right now, members of the Columbus city council are holding a special called meeting, hearing from Muscogee County's sheriff and other leaders about what's really needed to fund their departments for the upcoming fiscal year. We take a closer look at their requests and how it impacts you.

Also, there are new developments in the case of a suspended Auburn University basketball player accused of point-shaving while he was playing for the Tigers.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
