(WTVM) -

Deputies in Thomas County are warning folks that pushy people are trying to get personal information over the phone.

Folks are getting the calls from people asking for that information for new Medicaid and Medicare cards.

Deputies say they are asking for social security numbers and banking information. So deputies say be careful. If you get one of these calls, just hang up.
