It's Day 2 of “Need for Speed” filming on 13th Street Bridge

It's day two of filming for "Need for Speed," and the city is already starting to look a little different.

This is video of the sign you see when you're entering Columbus on the 13th Street Bridge from Phenix City.

It is now "Mount Kisco," the scene of the finish of a race between two rival movie characters, where one ultimately crashes over the side of the bridge into the river below.

We spoke to David Culpepper from Phenix City who came out Tuesday, and was there Wednesday to take in all the action.

He explains how this experience will change the way he watches the movie in the theater.

"You feel like you're part of what's going on, you know, so when you see the movie you can figure out where you were when they were filming," said Culpepper. "It's pretty neat - they've had a couple other movies that I've never got to come down and see, so it's interesting."

Don't forget the 13th Street Bridge is still closed for filming and will be closed until noon on Saturday.

The best alternate routes would be using JR Allen Parkway, Oglethorpe Bridge on U.S. 280, or the Dillingham Bridge.

Be on the lookout for officers who may be directing traffic.
