Movie filming drives up business in Columbus while stalling traffic

These seats may be empty now but if you stop by Philly-osophy during lunch time Aimee Herrmann says it's pretty much standing room only from the crowd of folks heading downtown to watch the movie being filmed.

"A lot of people just want to see the action and they want to say that they were there when it was being filmed and I guess those people wander over here when they get hungry," Herrmann said.

Herrmann says the movie filming has been good for their business but not so good for traffic. We caught up with Major Julius Graham at the 13th Street Bridge Thursday afternoon.

"There is some disruption and minor delays on side streets but here at this location 13th and Broad its flowing pretty good," Major Graham said.

On Wednesday the Dillingham Bridge was closed because of a low flying helicopter. That did slow up traffic for quite some time but things started flowing once the bridge re-opened. Criticisms with the filming haven't scared spectators away.
