ALBUQUERQUE, NM (AP) -

A man who branded a swastika onto a Navajo man with mental disabilities is going back to federal prison.

KRQE-TV reports that a federal judge ordered on Tuesday that William Hatch serve three months in prison and an additional 21 months of supervised probation for violating his probation.

Last month, Hatch was found slumped over the wheel of his car in the middle of the road. Police say he was drunk, and a state drunken driving charge is pending.

Hatch was part of a trio that lured Vincent Kee from a McDonald's in Farmington to an apartment where they used a wire hanger to brand him and shaved a swastika on the back of his head.

Hatch was convicted of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery.
