COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says the body of a woman found inside a vacant house on 3rd Avenue three weeks ago has been identified.

The positive identification of Donna Wyatt Clifton, 51 of Prattville, Alabama was made on Saturday.

Her family came to the morgue on Saturday to ID the body using pictures and a scar on her leg that they were already familiar with.

Clifton was pronounced dead at 12:37 pm on June 1 at 602 3rd Avenue. The body was not decomposed, but authorities are unsure how long the remains had been there.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate Clifton died from an Aneurism. Toxicology test results are still pending.

The body was picked up this past weekend by Hillbrooke Funeral Home of Prattville.
