Magic Moments, the only organization dedicated exclusively to granting wishes for Alabama children, will turn a dream into a reality for one Alabama girl this weekend. Kaitlyn is an 18-year-old from Deatsville, AL who was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in 2010.  She will be receiving her magic moment on Saturday. Kaitlyn will begin her shopping spree at the BestBuy in Prattville at noon.

Kaitlyn was diagnosed with leukemia at age 15. While other girls her age were shopping, Kaitlyn was undergoing intense treatments and therapies to fight her Leukemia. Now, Magic Moments is giving Kaitlyn the opportunity to recapture those moments she missed with the shopping spree of a lifetime.

Magic Moments Montgomery Board member Tasha Kendrick will be assisting Kaitlyn on her shopping spree. Kaitlyn will begin at BestBuy in Prattville and then to travel to Kinnucan's and Dilliard's in Montgomery at The Shoppes of East Chase. These stores are on board with making this experience as special as possible for Kaitlyn and have agreed to provide a few extra surprises.

Magic Moments is a Birmingham-based 501(c)(3) organization providing non-medical wishes to critically-ill children ages 4-18 living in Alabama. In our 29-year history we have fulfilled the dreams of over 4,200 children in all 67 counties in Alabama. Magic Moments is the only wish-granting organization dedicated exclusively to Alabama children.
