FORT PAYNE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a burglary in northeast Alabama sparked a police chase that crossed into Georgia before ending in Tennessee.

WAFF-TV (http://bit.ly/17lJcGI ) reports that police in Fort Payne found a door open at Kilgore Express Pharmacy early Thursday. Items were on the floor.

Police spotted a possible suspect car on Interstate 59 north and tried to stop the driver, but authorities were soon in a chase.

The pursuit continued through Alabama into Georgia before crossing into Tennessee. The Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested three people after the vehicle exited Interstate 24.

Authorities haven't released any names, but Fort Payne police say the suspects face charges including burglary.
