ELMORE, COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a fatal single SUV crash. It happened just before 8:00 Sunday morning on Elmore County 429.

The victims have been identified as Jesus Ugalbe, 19, of Opelika and Gerardo Costillo, 24, of Auburn.

Ugalbe was driving a 2004 Nissan Xterra when he ran off the roadway and overturned, according to authorities.

Both victims were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a seat belt. Alabama State Troopers say speed was a factor.
