(Toledo News Now) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has announced the capture of fugitive Donte McGill.

McGill was wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Lorain Police for domestic violence. It is alleged that McGill attacked his live-in girlfriend after an argument ensued over some Facebook posts. Police say McGill beat her for 45 minutes. He then left the residence to go to the store, which gave her the opportunity to call police for help.

The victim was hospitalized for four days as a result of the vicious beating.

McGill fled the area to Kentucky after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested there after new charges of domestic violence.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of a known fugitive is encouraged to contact the NOVFTF at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword "WANTED" with the tip to TIP411. Tipsters may remain anonymous. A cash reward may be available.
