NAMI talks PTSD -, GA News Weather & Sports

The National Alliance of Mental Illness in Columbus celebrates its 30th anniversary with summer educational series. Tuesday, the organization held a forum on post traumatic stress disorder.

Tuesday's series is the third part in the series held at the Columbus Library on Macon Road.

NAMI leaders say they hope to educate the public about mental disorders and use the series as a way to spotlight mental health providers in our area.

PTSD can be treated though different forms of therapy and medications. If you need help or know of someone suffering from PTSD, seek help from a medical professional who can provide therapy or medication.
