PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are looking for a man caught by a surveillance camera in connection with the severe beating of a woman transient who was found unconscious July 5.

Virginia Dashkovitz, who was found along the Black Canyon access road just south of Camelback Road, remained in critical condition at a Phoenix hospital Friday.

The suspect was captured on video around the time of the beating, according to a Silent Witness news release.

The suspect was wearing baggy pants and a dark T-shirt and walked with a significant limp, according to the release.
