Columbus Parks and Rec ask for community’s input at meetings

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Officials with Columbus Parks and Recreation say they need your valuable input.

The department is holding a series of community focus meetings now through August 1. The goal of the meetings is to help the department gain national accreditation.

Thursday's meeting at Fox Community Center focused on senior citizen recreation.

The next meeting will be on July 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Pop Austin Recreation Center and will focus on therapeutic recreation.
