OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

The Opelika Police Department is searching for a woman believed to have stolen two debit cards from another woman’s purse.

The theft occurred at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Pepperell Parkway in Opelika on Monday July 15 between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The victim reported she had been shopping at Wal-Mart and while she was there someone stole two debit cards from her purse. The victim later contacted her bank and was informed a purchase in the amount of $611.86 had been made at Wal-Mart using one of her cards.

During the course of the investigation, a suspect was developed. The suspect depicted in the attached photographs is wanted for questioning in connection with the incident. She is described as a black female wearing an aqua blue shirt and white shorts or skirt.
