Store clerk refuses to comply with armed robbers

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Three masked men stormed into a grocery store in Hermitage and demanded money from the clerk, but they ended up leaving empty handed.

The robbery happened around 9:40 p.m. at an IGA store located at 4331 Old Hickory Blvd.

Police said three black men, one armed with a silver handgun, entered the store demanding money from a female clerk.

However, the woman refused to comply with their requests. This caused the men to leave the store in a vehicle.

All three men were wearing masks and gloves. Witnesses said one of them had bright green gloves and a hat.
