AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Two more people have been arrested in connection to a string of residential burglaries that occurred over the last few months.

On Friday July 19, the Auburn Police Division arrested 28-year-old Linda Townsend and 39-year-old Damion D. Payne, both from Montgomery, Ala.

Townsend is charged with two counts of third degree burglary, two counts of first degree theft of property, two counts of second degree theft of property, and two counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

Payne is charged with third degree burglary and third degree theft of property.

The pair was taken into custody in Birmingham, Ala., on Friday by the U.S. Marshal's Service.  They are currently being held at the Lee County Detention Center.

Townsend's bond is set at $28,000 and Payne's bond is set at $4,000. 

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests and charges are expected.
