Local Domino's robbed overnight

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The search is on for two people who robbed a local business overnight.

After midnight, just as the Domino's was closing, two armed men rushed into the building dressed in all black and demanded money.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and there was one employee inside who was working at the time.

Luckily, the victim was not hurt but the two suspects did get away with an undisclosed amoung of money.

Recently, there have been a string of robberies in Columbus involving two men dressed in all black, but authorities have reason to believe this incident is not related.

Unfortunately, there is not much of a description of the suspects available, or even a description of a get-away vehicle, which is why police can use your help.

If you have any information about this crime you are asked to call Columbus Investigators at 706-653-3400.
