(WTVM) -

We're happy to report that three cats and one dog we showed in early July were either adopted or placed with rescue.  A dog (Tag 300) and a cat (Tag 215) are still available for adoption at the shelter, and sadly, two dogs were put down.

Let's take a look at this week's pet in need of a loving home.

Tag 215 is an adult female diluted tortoiseshell cat that we first presented on July 10. Won't you give this sweetheart a safe home?

Tag 301 is an adult female heeler mix with brown, white and black fur. She is lively and affectionate, the perfect dog to take to the park, or simply love on.

Tag 313 is an adult female domestic shorthair cat with black and white fur. She is relaxed and laid back, looking for a forever home that will spoil her and give her the love she deserves.

Tag 258 is an adult male bulldog and brindle mix with brown and white fur. He may look tough, but he's a real softie who loves to have his belly rubbed.

For more information on how you can help these deserving pets find a home, visit Columbus Animal Care and Control at 4910 Milgen Road or call them at (706) 653-4512. You can also visit their official website
