AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

On Wednesday July 31, the Auburn Police Division arrested two people in connection to an automobile burglary.

Juan E.V. Dela Cruz, 28, is charged with unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and second degree theft of property. Jennifer N. Decker, 24, is charged with illegal possession or use of a credit or debit card.  Both live in Auburn.

Their arrests stem from the investigation of a police report dated July 29, 2013 in which the victim stated that someone entered her vehicle while it was parked in the 1500 block of Marley Lane and stole her wallet.  A debit card inside the wallet was later used at several area businesses.

Dela Cruz and Decker were developed as suspects in the case and taken into custody.  They were transported to the Lee County Detention Center where Dela Cruz's bond was set at $6,000 and Decker's at $3,000.
