PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

On July 29, Russell County police uncovered the biggest marijuana bust in the county's history.

Rickey Baker, 58, of Atlanta was charged with trafficking marijuana and obstruction of justice using a false identity when his home at 19 Minger Circle in Phenix City was found to have 282 marijuana plants with a street value of $564,000.

Baker first told police his name was Joseph Alphonso Powell and provided identification, but these were found to be fake.

Police discovered the 140 lbs of plants after performing a flyover. They spotted one plant on the ground, which uncovered Baker's entire collection.

This is a developing story and more information will be added as details become available.
