Brooks Co. investigators uncovered the largest meth lab ever in the county's history.

Multiple agencies raided 70-year-old Clarence Edmondson's property yesterday. They found an elaborate operation set up in hog barns.

It took expert teams most of Monday and Tuesday to remove multiple 500 gallon tanks of chemicals and many other cooking materials.

Edmonson previously served time for trafficking marijuana.

"From the evidence that we found you can tell that its been going on for a while. They had already cooked and they were you know probably getting ready for the next batch," says Sheriff Mike Dewey.

Edmondson is charged with conspiracy to manufacture meth, possession of meth, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon with more charges and more arrests possible.
