Exclusive Preview of News at 5 & 6

Good evening, this is Jason Dennis at WTVM. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6!

The new superintendent of Muscogee County schools talks to us about kids returning to the classroom today. Also, join us for a LIVE report on how some drivers and parents got tickets from police, as they dealt with school traffic and slower speed zones.

The first day of school began with a bang at one high school in Columbus, with more than a dozen shattered windows. We'll tell you about the vandalism there and at another local school.

And R & B singer Usher is embracing his son after a near drowning experience that involved a pool's drainage system. We'll look at regulations for drain systems for public pools in Columbus, and then at 5:30, our LIVE interview with a paramedic on the important issue.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

Jason Dennis
