(WTVM) - Georgia's tax free weekend is going on right now!
Retailers won't charge sales tax on school supplies that cost less than $20, clothes less than $100, and computers and computer accessories less than $1,000.
The tax free weekend ends at midnight on Saturday August 10.
Most online retailers are also offering tax-free shopping on qualifying items.
According to a Georgia State University study, the two-day tax holiday is going to cost the state an estimated $52.5 million in sales tax revenue.
The study also says local governments will lose about $36.8 million.
