Armed robbery suspect caught on exclusive surveillance video

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Police are looking for a suspect involved in the armed robbery of Circle K on 2514 Manchester Expressway on August 11, 2013.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning around 12:20 a.m. The suspect was armed with a pistol, and News Leader 9's Sara Lim obtained the exclusive surveillance video that captured the frightening moment of the armed robbery.

The surveillance video displayed the Circle K cashier pleading for her life and safety, as the suspect came behind the counter to take money from one of the cash registers. He then screamed at the cashier to 'shush' with some use of profanity. The scared worker tried to step away from the suspect, when he demanded the cashier to hand him the money from the second cash register.

Once the frightened worker handed the armed robbery suspect some cash, the suspect then demanded money from the cashier herself. He left the place after telling the cashier to get down.
