The Muscogee County school board's work session is about to start, the first one for new superintendent David Lewis. One issue on their agenda is fixing a cracked retaining wall at Carver High School. We'll also have a LIVE report at 6pm about the naming of a new elementary school and discussions amongst top educators about concussions for student athletes on local football fields.

We have an EXCLUSIVE update on the investigation in the Dandyland Day Care Center in East Alabama, where there have been allegations that several young children were hit by workers with rulers and wet towels.

A Columbus man, accused of attacking a police officer with a sledgehammer, changes his plea to guilty in court today. Find out how long he could be behind bars.
