BREAKING News preview for 5 & 6pm

Good evening, this is Jason Dennis. It's a very busy afternoon in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6!

Muscogee County is now under a flash flood warning for the next several hours, after more than 4 inches of rain fell in Columbus so far this afternoon. We have video of cars stuck in the high water, traffic diverted, and we'll check in with our chief meteorologist Derek Kinkade with an update on the wet weather.

There's other BREAKING news out of Georgia: an explosion at an industrial plant in Valdosta, causing a massive fire, less than 2 hours ago. We'll take you to that scene.

And a news conference is scheduled to start in a few minutes from Birmingham, AL about a UPS cargo plane crash that left 2 people dead. Stay tuned for LIVE reports.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
