Your Exclusive Look at What's Ahead on Newsleader 9 at 11

Good Evening I'm Barbara Gauthier in the WTVM Newsroom.  Here's your exclusive look at some of the stories we're working on for Newsleader 9 at 11.

Our rainy weather just keeps hanging on causing flooding across the Valley. We'll take a look at some of the damage it's caused in East Alabama and let your know what areas to avoid as you make your way into work in the morning. Chief Meteorologist Derek Kinkade will also let us know if the rain will continue through the weekend.

Plus, three weeks after a young man was killed on Georgia Highway 219 several members in the community who live along that dangerous stretch are calling on the state to lower the speed limit. We'll take you to tonight's meeting with highway officials.

And it's an inspirational story you don't want to miss!  Nearly four months after a family lost their son in the Boston Marathon bombing, they have reason to smile as their young daughter is released from the hospital and taking her first steps on a new prosthetic leg.

Join us for these stories and more tonight on Newsleader 9 at 11.
