(WTVM) - Many of us depend on a cup of coffee (or two) to get started each day.
According to a new study from the Mayo Clinic, more than four cups of coffee a day could be bad for your health.
The study finds heavy coffee consumption is associated with a 56% death risk in men and women younger than 55. Researchers define a cup of coffee as 6 to 8 oz.
More study is needed but health officials say if you really want to play it safe, just drink fewer cups of coffee.
