COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Three Columbus car servicing stations are changing oil and changing lives.

Epperly Tire will be donating all proceeds from Wednesday's oil changes to the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Steve Floyd, manager of Epperly Tire on Auburn Avenue, says the monthly event is important to the community.

"It's always important to give back to the community because if you forget about the community, it forgets about you," said Floyd.

Last month, "Changing Oil, Changing Lives" received national attention when Epperly placed in the Mightiest of Mighty Awards, an honor given by Mighty Auto Parts to Charitable Automotive Companies.
