LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) - The Lee County Humane Society hosted its 13th annual Woofstock at Kiesal Park in Auburn for a celebration of all things that have to do with dogs.
There were demonstrations from local police K-9 units, lessons on how easy it is to train a shelter dog, and veterinarians on sight to make sure your dog remains safe.
Bobby Yeo of the Lee County Humane Society says they would also be offering cheap microchipping for your dog.
"We're going to have a microchip clinic. We haven't had one for a few years. It gives people a chance to come and get their dog microchipped if they haven't gotten around to do it. It's the best way for your pet to get rehomed if they get lost and its only going to be $25," he says.
There was also a large adoption area for people looking to give a pet a forever home.
