SANTA ANA, CA (CBS5) -

A California company is expanding the recall of its pork products that was first issued last week.

Westlake Foods is recalling approximately 69,123 pounds of cured pork products because of misbranding and allergens that weren't listed.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said the products have wheat and soy but aren't labeled as so:

  • 12-pound blocks of "Pate Gan Tay Liverwurst Spread" distributed in cases for restaurant and wholesale use nationwide.
  • 6-ounce cups of "Pate Gan Tay Ho Liverwurst Spread" distributed at retail, restaurants and wholesale locations nationwide.

The following products were named in the Aug. 23 recall release:

  • 11-pound to 13-pound cases of "Tay Ho Cured Pork Artificially Colored." This product was distributed for institutional use nationwide.
  • 14-ounce packages of "Tay Ho Cured Pork Sausage With Pork Ears And Snouts." This product was distributed for retail sales nationwide.
  • 11-pound to 13-pound cases of "Don Café Cured Pork Meat and Binder Product Pork skin added." This product was distributed for institutional use in the Houston, Texas area.

FSIS said it was sold nationwide.

The products were produced between Jan. 1 and Aug. 22 and have the establishment number "EST. 1627A" inside the USDA Mark of Inspection.

The company said it has not received any reports of people having a medical reaction to one of their recalled products.

If you have questions on the recall, call 714-973-2286 or log on to AskKaren.gov.
