GREENVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

A Greenville man who called police to report a vehicle on his private property is now under arrest and charged with robbery and murder.

Butler County officials say 60-year-old Kent Tanner called authorities Saturday around 10 p.m about a vehicle being stuck on his property. When police arrived they found a victim with a  gunshot wound.

The victim, a neighbor of Tanner's, was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. He was identified Monday as 41-year-old Dana Collins.

Greenville police charged Tanner with first degree robbery and murder after Collins' death.

Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting.
