SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

The adoptive parents of a missing Salisbury teenager are moving from the home where the young girl was last seen nearly two years ago.

A U-Haul truck was seen parked outside of the home of Sandy and Casey Parsons on Tuesday around noon.

The Parsons' adopted daughter, Erica Parsons, was reported missing nearly a month ago, after not being seen in nearly two years.

Erica's brother, James, told deputies that he had not seen Erica since November 2011, when his parents told him she'd gone to live with her biological grandmother.

The Parsons were seen moving a refrigerator, stove, bookcases and more on Tuesday.

WBTV has learned they plan to move into the home of their son, Sandy Parsons, Jr. in the Fayetteville area.

At one point the Parsons family was seen on the front porch of the home taking pictures of media watching them pack and move.

The Parsons have not been charged in connection with Erica's disappearance and can move freely.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office says it continues to work with state investigators and the FBI in the search for Parsons.

"Investigators will remain in contact with the Parsons and their attorney, as the investigation progresses," the Sheriff's Office stated.

Anyone with information on Erica's whereabouts is encourage to call the Rowan County Sheriff's Office at 704-216-8700.
